Another familiar face to a lot of our clients, Upeka has been here at the clinic since 2006 after graduating from Melbourne University. She took a little break from Corio in 2012, for 18 months to do some travelling.
Due to her experience, vision and dedication to the clinics Upeka has become the Lead Veterinarian and works closely with our Practice manager. Upeka has undertaken a diploma in management and has completed a post graduate course in feline medicine.
Outside of work Upeka is a fan of the outdoors, spending a lot of time gardening, doing the occasional fun-run and also continuing her travel-bug ways with as many trips overseas as she can manage. She is a black cat fan and her spoilt tiny orphaned black kitten called Tuohy is now a big beautiful boy.
Upeka is an integral part of our clinic team and is proving herself to be a great leader to our crew, we are lucky to have her here and are always grateful she did return from overseas.
