Madi officially joined the clinic in late 2022 but she has worked with us on a casual basis in the past. She has recently taken on the role of Head Nurse in the clinic, following a number of years as Head Nurse in another clinic. Madi qualified in 2017 and did her work placement at the University of Melbourne Vet Hospital, which gave her a very broad and varied knowledge of all aspects of veterinary nursing.
Madi is Geelong born and bred and still lives quite locally with her partner, their two Labradors, Draca the beautiful boy, and Luna the gorgeous girl, and their funny feline, Geoffrey. When she is not working Madi likes to exercise her pooches with a lot of hiking, but it is in the gym where she really thrives. She may look small, but Maddi is a powerlifter who has amazing focus and dedication to her chosen sport.
We are loving having Madi here with us in the clinic, she is sure to lift your spirits when you meet her or speak to her on the phone.
