Laura has been with our team here at the Corio clinic since late 2021 and in that time has become a firm favourite with staff and clients alike. Laura has been nursing for a few years now, and has worked in her home town of Bendigo and in Darwin before coming to Corio. She is interested in all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a special love for wildlife care and nursing of native animals and birds, and is a wealth of knowledge and experience for us here at the clinic. She has been known to take a stray bird or animal home many times to nurse them back to health or until they can find a carer or home.

Laura’s relaxed and calm attitude means she is good in an emergency and doesn’t tend to stress about the little things in her daily work. Outside of work Laura is still discovering Geelong and it’s surrounds with her partner, and loves to spend time going to music festivals and doing the odd bit of camping. We are very happy to have Laura as part of our team here in the clinic.
