Recently we have welcomed a new vet to our team here at Corio – Jhett is a recent graduate from Melbourne Uni, and completed his veterinary degree late last year. Jhett is from the US and hails from Virginia. He came to Australia in 2022 to complete his veterinary training after doing his first year online due to the Covid pandemic – it is safe to say that he has adjusted very well to life in Australia and now lives here permanently with his partner and their three cats. Jhett enjoys many things about Australian life such as the food culture, the arts, the beautiful hiking that is available and the opportunity to partake in another hobby of his – landscape photography. Jhett came to our clinic as a final year student to do some work experience – he seemed to really like his time with us and the feeling was mutual! Jhett joined us as a fully fledged veterinary surgeon in early February and we are absolutely thrilled to have him as part of the team and look forward to seeing how his career progresses and to getting to know him better.
